Any Kingdom leader or five-fold ministry gift bearer will at some point go through tribulation and trials so intense that in order to overcome them you must have Jesus, the fourth man, in the midst.
We have all heard the saying, challenges come to make you not to break you. There may have been many challenges in your life that you may consider an affliction, but in comparison to what the three Hebrew boys experienced your situation cannot even be labeled a ‘light’ affliction. Any Kingdom leader or five-fold ministry gift bearer will at some point go through tribulation and trials so intense that in order to overcome them you must truly have Jesus, the fourth man, in the midst. Not everyone will experience this level of persecution, but to whom much is given, much is required.
So often people desire what they see others achieve without wanting to paying the price that they’ve paid! The level of fire you experience in your life determines the level of power, influence, and anointing you will be endowed with. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were in the kings court. Even though they were in captivity they were in a leadership position so a decision to defy the kings decree publicly would have been on the level of treason. The integrity of these men was remarkable. They refused to the point of death not to disobey God’s laws. When confronted by King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 3:16 – 18, the response of these men was, “we have no need to answer you in this matter. If that is the case, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us from your hand, O king. But if not, let it be known to you, O king, that we do not serve your gods, nor will we worship the gold image which you have set up.” These are the type of leaders we need in the 21st century. Leaders who will not back down, bow, bend or compromise with those in authority.
We must uphold the laws of the kingdom at any cost. When leaders begin to stand only on the Word without compromise, fear or intimidation, the church will experience a power that will destroy yolks, set captives free and usher in the end time harvest. Along with the leaders, if every Christian follows the ‘no compromise’ model of the Hebrews, how much more of an explosion of glory the world would experience through the body of Christ. The response given to the king was fearless. They knew God could deliver them but if He didn’t they still decided not to bow. This must be the resolve of the Church today. Whether or not God delivers you, make a decision to stand in God’s laws.
Isaiah 43:2 says, when you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Why? Because there is a fourth man in the fire. I believe Jesus was there waiting on them. He showed up so the world might see Him. There will be some fires in your life, but be confident in this… Jesus will be there! He will never leave you nor forsake you.
I declare to you that nothing will happen in your life – no trial, no temptation, no persecution, no situation or circumstances that you cannot handle with God.
Our God is able to deliver us and He will!
