There are times in our lives where we reach a point while praying and believing God for an open door, a blessing, a breakthrough or a manifestation of His promises and perhaps even a prophetic word that we desire to see the full manifestation of all we hope for.
I was so determined that I no longer wanted to pray vaguely. I wanted to hit a bull’s eye as I prayed and believed for a release of what was to be mine. God gave me specific things to pray and declare. It was simple but profound because my spirit bore witness that it was a divine strategy of what I was supposed to be praying for.
The first words He gave me were “Divine Opportunity”. It was like a light bulb went off and I knew I was on the right track. Even though I was on the right track, there was something else I needed. Months into praying for a divine opportunity I got a call that confirmed what the divine opportunity was; I was excited, but knew I had to contend to see the opportunity to come to pass. 1 Corinthians 16:9 says, “for a great door and effectual is opened to me, and there are many adversaries.” As I continued to pray for my divine opportunity, God gave me another key – “Favor”. I added that to my prayer then God gave me a third key – “Reset!” When I heard that word, it was as if I had finally found the missing piece of the puzzle. It was exactly what I needed in order to hit the target bull’s eye during prayer.
This is what I received concerning reset. As your life take different turns, you go through ups and downs, dry seasons, times when it seems like nothing is moving or happening concerning your purpose and destiny, you go through a time of prayerlessness or even move away from God. As these occurrences take place a misalignment of the trajectory of the projectile that needs to hit your target which represents your destiny occurs. If the projectile is not in the right path or off by a few marks it will not hit the target in the right place to yield the desired results. Therefore, you must reset your trajectory and your projectile. Everything happens in time. If your timing is off, you will miss the opportunity. God used a simple illustration to show me this – If the electricity goes off, your digital clock goes back to its default time which is 12:00. In order to get your clock back to the right time you must RESET it. If not you will be operating your life from the wrong time.
Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “to everything there is a season, a time to every purpose under the heaven.”
When you are in the wrong time, you will be late and miss appointments, meetings, flights and anything that has to do with specific times. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “to everything there is a season, a time to every purpose under the heaven.” In order to be in the right place and in the right time to receive what God has for you, every now and then you must reset your life! Circumstances, situations, and people can derail you, but the God we serve can redeem the time. He can cause you to catch up and place you back on track. If you RESET, you will reposition yourself to receive what you’ve missed in the years prior.
Could it be that you’re having a hard time receiving your divine opportunity because you need to reset the course of your life?
May you discern the times and the seasons in your life. Get back on track! Your best days are ahead of you because God is faithful to perform His word concerning you.
Something big is about to happen to you. RESET!
