The New Year is almost here! We all made promises, set goals, and had dreams of seeing great accomplishments for our lives. There is still time to have exactly what you have imagined.
In this article, I would like to take the time to focus on making room in our lives for what we say we want.
When you believe for anything new in your life; it better fits when there is no clutter of old items or dust in the way. Your space needs to appear to be fresh, clean, and ready for what the new. It is doing just this that excites us and creates expectation for what is to come.
In faith, we have been taught principles which include getting rid of all things old in order to prepare for all things new. But what is most important, is to get rid of old clutter spiritually so that you are able to catch up with the life that has been promised to you.
Skipping this required step, has the potential to shut the door on your promise. Example: you cannot have a new relationship while still holding on to the old. If he/she is still there in your life spiritually, where is the room for your God choice? There isn’t. God will not allow what He has prepared for you to try to fit in. He has made it very clear that what He has for you is the best because it is a direct reflection of Him for your life. You’ve been faithful, you love God, you are a giver and now is your time of harvest!
Living your best life and allowing your dreams to manifest requires you to make room so that your mindset grows and your life begins to change; from the place of ordinary to the space of promise! Right there is where your destiny is waiting for you to catch up to it!
Look down at the palms your hands now and see the old “stuff” there; thoughts, hurt, pain, doubts, negative words and people. Now see yourself dropping it all into the trash and finally out of your life. Now see yourself opening up your hands fresh and ready to receive what the lord has for you. That is a great place to begin your new path of only having what is rightfully yours! Always keep your heart ready, mind made up and the openness to receive!
May God richly bless you and yours as you walk into what is new!
